I sat in front of the teacher while she was talking,
But out of the window, was where I was wandering.
The train whistles were blowing,
And all the equations and formulas were flowing.
I rested my head on my hand,
Looked around at all the faces that were bland,
Waiting anxiously for the class to end,
And to rush to talk to my friends.
The bell rang and I was out,
But like a spider, I was forced back to go to my web,
For another class was yet to come about.
I was sad and wanted the time to travel fast,
It the end, another distracted mind,
Was immeasurably bored.
