The Kalyani School (TKS) is proud to be associated with several esteemed organizations: the International Award for Young People (IAYP), Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH), WorldClassroom, SportsChamp, and Torrins, among a few. These partnerships play a pivotal role in enriching our students' educational experiences and personal development.

International Award for Young People (IAYP)

The International Award for Young People (IAYP), known globally as The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, is a prestigious non-formal education framework that encourages young individuals aged 14 to 24 to discover their purpose, passion, and place in the world. Established in 1956, the Award operates in over 130 countries and territories, engaging more than a million participants annually. The programme comprises three levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—each requiring participants to undertake activities in four key sections: Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service, and an Adventurous Journey.

At TKS, our collaboration with IAYP offers students a structured platform to develop essential life skills beyond the conventional classroom setting. By participating in this programme, our students enhance their resilience, leadership abilities, and community engagement. The Award's emphasis on holistic development aligns seamlessly with our school's mission to nurture well-rounded individuals, prepared to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH)

Founded in 1984, the Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) is one of the world's largest heritage organizations, dedicated to the conservation and promotion of India's vast cultural legacy. With over 228 chapters across the country, INTACH focuses on preserving India's natural, built, and intangible heritage through various initiatives, including restoration projects, heritage walks, educational programmes, and community engagement.

Through our association with INTACH, TKS integrates heritage education into our curriculum, fostering a deep appreciation for India's rich cultural diversity among our students. This partnership enables our students to participate in heritage conservation projects, workshops and seminars, cultivating a sense of responsibility towards preserving our cultural heritage. Such engagement not only enriches their historical knowledge but also instills values of respect and pride for our nation's traditions.

World Classrooms

WorldClassroom is an innovative EdTech platform, headquartered in Tokyo that promotes students' language learning, and facilitates intercultural exchange experiences. With WorldClassroom, students from different corners of the world can learn together as if they were in neighbouring classrooms. Through this initiative, students at The Kalyani School engage with their counterparts in Japan, exchanging insights about their academic experiences, cultural perspectives, and daily life.

As part of this collaboration, students participated in a meaningful exchange of physical greeting cards with Ureshino High School in Japan, fostering cross-cultural understanding. Furthermore, the programme extends beyond students, enabling teachers from The Kalyani School to engage in professional dialogues and knowledge-sharing with educators from the Philippines, Korea, Bali, and various other countries. This initiative underscores the school's commitment to global learning and international collaboration.

SportsChamp

SportsChamp is a pioneering platform that revolutionizes how sports education is delivered, offering structured, engaging, and interactive sports sessions designed to foster physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills among students. At TKS, our collaboration with SportsChamp ensures our students benefit from expert guidance, innovative teaching methodologies, and personalized training programmes. This partnership helps students excel in sports and build essential life skills, enhancing their overall growth and development.

Torrins

Torrins is an internationally acclaimed music education platform dedicated to making music learning accessible, enjoyable and impactful. With interactive video lessons, a structured curriculum and expert guidance, Torrins empowers students to explore various musical instruments, vocal training and music theory. TKS' association with Torrins enables our students to access world-class music education right at our campus. This partnership fosters creativity, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music, aligning perfectly with our commitment to holistic education.
