Oh Time that’s gone by,
Would you return for me?
Oh! Those golden days,
Wouldn’t you come back once again?
We forever wait for you…
Remember the days when we played ’round,
The tree that bore limes?

But now I have come to know,
That those beautiful ages,
Those years of sheer bliss,
Will remain only in the past.
And I’ll live them in a reverie,
Wishing the time that past so long ago,
Would come back just for me.
But I’ve also come to realize at last,
Is that while times don’t last,
Memories do.
