During the primary years, The Kalyani School promotes query-based learning, where children formulate questions, search for answers, and cultivate their own thoughts. On the very last day of the month at TKS, there is an Experiential Learning Day where there are many activities for students, like workshops, clubs and other skills instead of formal classroom teaching. This is a step towards making the students future ready citizens.
As the students move ahead to the Secondary Section, The Kalyani School focuses on interdisciplinary education, technology, and global awareness. In the Middle School, students do a GIP (Geo-Inquiry Project) where groups of students collectively solve an important environmental problem. To prepare them for college and the workplace, they need to be made aware of practical issues, teamwork, and leadership skills.
