PSAT/NMSQT

PSAT/NMSQT will be administered at, ‘The Kalyani School’ Digitally on 11th October, 2024. The PSAT/NMSQT is suitable for students in Grades X and XI. We request you to kindly forward the below email to your students from Grades X and XI.

The last date for registration and payment is 10th September, 2024.

How are the PSAT Suite of Assessments - PSAT/NMSQT helpful?

  • The PSAT offers students an excellent and cost-effective way to practice for the SAT; PSAT assesses the same skills as the SAT but in a grade-appropriate way
  • The detailed score reports help students and educators gain a deep understanding of the student's strengths and weaknesses, so they are better prepared for the SAT
  • Even if students do not plan to take the SAT, the PSAT offer meaningful insights into a student’s skills and helps them prepare for other similar standardized/competitive exams for India and abroad
  • Students can send their PSAT score report to their free Khan Academy SAT practice account and get free, customized recommendations on how they should prepare for the SAT, based on their section-wise / question-wise performance on the PSAT
  • Educators receive highly detailed and meaningful data and reports on how their students performed in the PSAT at the individual student, grade, and school level, which can help drive instruction and focus on skills that most need attention.

Grade Appropriateness

The PSAT/NMSQT is suitable for students in Grades 10 and 11.

THE KALYANI School will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on 11th October, 2024.

Students can’t register for the PSAT/NMSQT through the College Board.

However,they are supposed to register with us and we in turn place the order for the exams.

Exam Format and Duration

The PSAT/NMSQT takes 2 hours and 14 minutes and consists of 2 sections: (1) the Reading and Writing Section, and (2) the Math Section. Most of the questions are multiple choice, though some math questions ask you to write in the answer rather than select it.
