The Kalyani School was founded in 2015 by Mrs. Deeksha Kalyani, with a simple aim- to serve as a center for the best possible, most well-rounded education there is to offer. Over a decade has passed since her brainchild took form, and it still stays true to our initial purpose. We have grown tremendously, reaching heights previously only dreamed of. Our family has expanded too; staff and students alike, and we have a stellar reputation that just keeps improving.
We are known as the very best there is. Our prestige has been officially recognised, too. C-Force, a review system, has ranked TKS 1st in Pune among all CBSE schools, a grand title. Another evaluation, the QS I-Gauge has declared our school to be “Diamond level.” These laurels are simply more proof that The Kalyani School provides the best secondary CBSE education , especially in terms of adherence to following the National Curriculum and adhering to the New Education Policy. The staff is perfectly trained to teach in accordance with NCERT guidelines, ensuring there is no room left for doubts or error. Now talking about our education methodologies, our wonderful teachers plan out our lessons meticulously and teach us through both modern methods and traditional skills. We often have flip teaching in our classrooms, where we adopt the role of the teacher and explain a topic to the class. This allows us to grasp the topic better and improve our phrasing and presentation skills. We also have several projects that allow us to connect our creative ideas with the syllabus and learn in a fun and fresh way. Students at The Kalyani School enjoy their classes, since there is active discussion and intellectually stimulating assignments.
This focus is not limited to senior students. Our school believes in a strong foundation, and our pre-primary and primary departments are very well-developed. Here, the atmosphere feels most of all like family. The children learn their basics, of course, but also emotional, social, and problem-solving skills from this age. We have DEAR Time, for example, which stands for Drop Everything and Read, a unique initiative that sets aside time for reading, cultivating a wonderful habit in young ones early on. We also have Circle Time for these students, a safe space for discussion and bonding, something that greatly blooms their personalities and social skills. Our pre-primary and primary departments ensure that the junior students have a strong start, in age- appropriate ways.
